Buster & Amy Vance are proud owners of Bayou Bloodhounds. We are owned by FIVE bloodhounds who are each an intricate part of our lives. We do compete in AKC conformation shows but are not consumed by it. We strive to give our dogs a complete and fulfilling life. The bloodhound's strength is it's nose. The bloodhound was bred as a scent hound and loves to do just that. We work our dogs in tracking, obedience, conformation - you name it. We beleive there is nothing we can't accomplish with our dogs. We enjoy spending as much time with our dogs as possible. Words can never express what they mean to us. Through our dogs, we have established life long friendships as other breeders mentor us with our own program. Responsibility to our dogs is a virtue we hold when making decisions with our dogs.
